Rebecca started working at Leyland Implants in October 2013 assisting the hygiene team before joining Dr Quinn in surgery. As a trainee dental nurse she loves her job because there is always something new to learn and do.
She enjoys oral surgery the most; including cosmetic treatments where she experiences firsthand the positive effect treatment has on a patient’s wellbeing. In her spare time she likes to go on adventures in the Lake District and spend time with friends and family.

After a stint in retail as an assistant manager, Helen took a job as a dental practice receptionist during which time she became interested in dental nursing. She then applied and obtained a training position at Leyland Implants before qualifying as a dental nurse in November 2010, and radiography two years later.
She thoroughly enjoys her job especially working alongside Dr Quinn to carry out implant treatments that help people restore their smiles.

Gill began working at Lowerbank as a trainee dental nurse in 1984 and qualified as a dental nurse in 1988. Since then she has successfully undertaken qualifications in health education, conscious sedation, dental radiography and advanced life support.
In 1997 she was awarded the certificate in dental practice management and is now Lowerbank’s main practice manager. She has worked in implant dentistry for 25 years, having completed the Brånemark implant system training course for nurses in 1996. She is passionate about her job and loves seeing the positive affect dental implant treatment has on patients’ lives.

Dr Quinn graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1993. He then worked for three years as a senior house officer in maxillofacial surgery at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Northern General hospitals in Sheffield, and at the Royal Preston Hospital – where he also placed his first dental implant.
He has since worked in general dental practice on the Wirral and Southport, before moving to Leyland. In 2008 he passed the examinations to become a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and the Faculty of General Dental Practice. In 2011, he completed a 12-month multisystem implant course, and in 2014 gained an MSc in Dental Implantology (the best qualification available in the UK) with distinction. He has also completed a sinus grafting and bone augmentation course at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
